Child Welfare

Huntingdon Girls FC is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all players in its care. The Club’s volunteers work together to embrace difference and diversity and respect the rights of children and young people.

We have Club Welfare Officers and, in keeping with FA club standards, full DBS checks and safeguarding qualifications are in place. All our coaches will have achieved a minimum FA Level 1 coaching qualification, or be in the process of working towards this qualification. They will also have completed the FA Safeguarding Children course.

If you have any concerns you can talk confidentially with our Welfare Officer. This is the main point of contact for parents/guardians, coaches and committee members if they have any concerns about the welfare of a child. Further information is also available via the FA Safeguarding web page.
